The firm has a strategy-based approach with a strong focus on technology and high-quality content. Co-Founded by Jesse Bouman and Gaia Dempsey, the company serves technology startups, consumer brands, and companies with a focus on sustainability.

Demeter Interactive often develops long-term relationships with clients and integrates with the team and culture to better understand the products and services being marketed.

Executive Bios

Jesse Bouman – Founder & Managing Partner

Jesse Bouman is an entrepreneur and philanthropist. He has made a professional specialty of social/interactive media for three years, and has experience in SEO, PPC, and content marketing. Jesse got his professional start at Sideways Media, an upstart online marketing company focusing on music promotion. He then transitioned to online marketing agency Wpromote Inc, a 4-time Inc. 500|5000 honoree, where we worked with a variety of clients, including Inc. Magazine, US Census Bureau, and the Taco Bell Foundation.

Jesse is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, a founding member of the non-profit Knights of Waukesha, a scholarship and mentoring organization. When not at his desk blogging or tweeting, he’s found at the beach, in a coffee shop, exploring LA’s hidden treasures, or walking his dog.

Gaia Dempsey – Co-Founder & Managing Partner

Gaia has worked as a brand advocate, community manager, social media strategist, copywriter, and marketing consultant for Los Angeles-based companies ranging from film production studios to tech startups. Her experience is in a wide array of social media campaigns, pay per click advertising, search engine optimization, user interface optimization, usability testing, event management, and socially integrated web design. She also worked in environments as diverse as a literary agency, a Presidential campaign, and the world of green and sustainability.
